Scott and Caitlin are very dear friends to me…on their own AND together as a couple. I grew up with both of them individually and after college and life the Lord put us all at the same church together…working in the same Kindergarten Sunday School class.
I remember the night. It was summer. I had just eaten at Pei Wei with friends. I had missed a call from Caitlin. A very important call. It said, “Scott just asked me out!” WOAH! excited for them…nervous for them…all emotions for these two dear friends. Over the next few years of ups and downs their hearts stayed patient and they waited on God’s perfect timing. Caitlin and I were roommates when they got engaged. It was such a special time for us to plan both our weddings together and manuever all the emotions, stresses, and joys of being engaged, planning weddings, and getting married.
