the dunn boys: brentwood family photographer

First of all, can I just say that I love my family?! AND that I love getting to photograph them?! because I do.  A few weeks ago you met two of my nephews.  Today, I’d like you to meet my other three.  Connor, Mitchell, and Spencer.  They are such studs.

All three of them have grown up playing sports, so taking pictures all around Crockett Park in Brentwood - where I feel like SO many saturday mornings of their lives have been spent – seemed like a great idea.  These fields hold so many memories for them and as the oldest is about to go off to college next fall, these were the perfect places to capture those special times together.

I’m lucky to have such wonderful family and loved getting to spend the afternoon with them.  Are they not just the greatest and could totally be ralph lauren models?!

Don’t you just love those names? Cooper and Deacon! I think they are adorable…and so are their sweet faces!

I grew up with their parents at church back in the day and I love seeing their family grow!  The boys were adorable on this lovely fall day!  Thanks Chris and Ann for letting me capture your sweet boys!

jeremy and cheryl: franklin maternity photographer

I am so very excited to share these pictures with you.

A. they are lovely

B. they are just overflowing with all things fall

C. they mean that Jeremy and Cheryl are about to have their sweet baby boy!!!

I went to college with both Jeremy and Cheryl…and though I couldn’t tell you about the first conversations we had or where we were when we met (though I’m pretty sure it was at church) we’ve been friends for what is now years and I LOVE living life with these two.  Cheryl and I work together and so we get to chit-chat everyday about the ups and downs of life, love, tv shows, the office fax machine, and many more awesome topics.  Jeremy and I share a birthday, so that makes us instantly besties!

Baby James will be joining us in about 6 weeks (um, doesn’t Cheryl look amazing for being 33 weeks pregnant?!) so we took the opportunity to spend some time in the lovely downtown Franklin and enjoy the wonderful fall weather to capture these sweet moments before the 2 of them become a family of 3 with some maternity pictures!

scott and caitlin: westhaven wedding photographer

My dear friends Scott and Caitlin (you may remember their super cute faces from these pictures in downtown franklin) got married back in February.  Well…it’s cold…and typically rainy or snowy on most days…including their wedding day.  SO, now that the weather is awesome and the trees are pretty, they got dressed up again…wedding dress and all for some outdoor pictures.  If you’ve never been to Westhaven, it really is quite a beautiful development.

Scott and Caitlin…you are both awesome and lovely people!  Thank you for letting me help with celebrating your special day all over again!

snavely family: brentwood family photographer

In my last post I mentioned that I LOVE getting to document all these special moments in life…another thing I love is photographing change and growth in families and children.  Babies grow so fast it’s hard to keep up!  I met the Snavely family 2 months ago when Josiah was itty bitty and such a handsome newborn.  Now…just 8 weeks later, look how much he’s grown!

meet my nephews

one of my most favorite things about being a photographer is that I get to help capture all these little and big moments in life…and by capturing them, I have the opportunity to freeze this moment in time when there are smiles, hugs, babies, giggles, and fun being had.  It’s especially one of my favorite things to do with my own family.  My sweet nephews and sister-in-law came for a visit last weekend and I LOVED being able to capture all the goings on at Gran’s house and around town.  So, if you don’t mind, I’d love to share all the cuteness (as if that wasn’t proven in this post) that we had last weekend!

strelecki family: franklin, tn

Last Saturday, I hung out with the Strelecki family in Franklin.  It was October 1st and it was the perfect fall morning for some family photographs.

I met Margaret Jane when we were in high school and thanks to both of us keeping in touch with the same friends all these years we’ve been able to reconnect when she moved back to Tennessee after college.  Her family is absolutely adorable… I mean look at these precious eyes on these boys…what’s not to love?!

Thanks Strelecki family for letting me hung out with you and capture your sweet smiles!

all the boys had on the same kinds of shoes…so of course we need a guy picture.  I LOVE how this one turned out!
