cason and the cake: nashville child photographer

sweet Cason is growing up!  The last time you saw him he was 6 months! and now…he’s about to turn 1! WOAH!  He’s not even my kid and feel like he is growing up too fast.  I was really excited to get to capture these first bites of cake that Cason would have and see how much fun he had smashing and eating…he was excited too…

it was time to bring out the smash cake!!!

you really are never quite sure what a baby will do when a fresh cake is placed in front of him…

turns out…cason may not have wanted to do much with it at all…so we called in big brother Cody to show him how it’s done…

Cason was a champ! and though cake may not be his favorite thing right now, I’m sure he’ll grow to love it soon!

meet the toys…

I met Matt and Melissa when I was helping with a local church plant.  They were both great friends to my friends and because of that we became friends!  I was excited to help them out with some family christmas card pictures this year!  They have two cuties…Annie and James!  I hope you enjoy these fun shots of the Toy family.  They were taken just around their lovely home.  I really LOVE pictures at a family’s home.  I think they are just special to have those memories around your house…of your house :)

s is for scarlette: newborn photographer

The Martin family has grown!  Sweet little Addison is now big sister to baby Scarlette…

is she not precious?!  Scarlette was the perfect newborn and was just wonderful all morning.

I love being able to capture these early memories of bringing home a newborn baby.  Scarlette was just over a week old when we took these pictures and she was perfectly content to just stay snuggled up in all the blankets.

she is just a doll!  and I LOVE her blonde hair!

and I couldn’t not get a few snapshots of the proud big sister!

thank you Amber, Brandon, Addison and sweet Scarlette for letting me in your home and photographing your sweet family!

the rainer family: hendersonville family photographer

Last week I spent a beautiful morning with the sweet Rainer family.  I wasn’t all too familiar with the Hendersonville area, but they picked such a pretty spot for some family Christmas card photos.  Their son Canon just turned 2 and he could not be cuter!

Thank you Jess, Rachel, and Canon for making my job easy and being great people to work with!
